I am a software engineer with a passion for design. I currently work at the BYU-Idaho IT department, doing projects like helping redesign the University's website, building Adobe Flex applications, and customizing the UI of the Jenzabar portal.
I graduate this December with a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology, minor in Graphic Design and 3d Arts. So I'm in the fun job-hunting phase, hoping to find one where I can continue to learn from other talented people, and express my creativity through design and development of exciting web applications.
I'm also a developer of the Quick Connect open source framework. My professors started the project and valued my input and ideas. Once invited to be a co-developer I delved in and created the framework for Flash, Flex, and Adobe Air applications. Quick Connect is essentially a set of design patterns that enable a developer to build an application that is scalable, loosly-coupled, secure, and maintainable. I love the architecture side of systems.
